Waguinho do Cavaco & Mc Playboy at SOB’s

S.O.B.’s Presents PagoFUNK, a musical collective consisting of Waguinho do Cavaco, Luiz da Grande Rio and baile funk icon, MC Playboy, along with many special guests.

A musical fusion of some of the most popular Brazilian dance rhythms – samba, pagode and baile funk – PagoFUNK connects generations past with the youth by combining the classic sounds of Brazilian samba with the youthful electronically programmed beats of baile funk.

Led by renowned samba musician Waguinho do Cavaco, who has performed at many Carnaval parties in the U.S., including the Brazilian Day parade in New York, PagoFunk brings together many individually established Brazilian musicians in various genres with the goal of uniting Brazilian artists raising global awareness about the country’s rich and diverse musical heritage.
