Brazilian-style New Years at Bowery Poetry Club (12/13)

Bowery Poetry Club & Cafe , in conjunction with Samba New York , New York City’s own "escola de samba," is hosting a Brazilian-style, Samba-powered New Years celebration on December 13.

Inspired by the famous drum sections of Rio de Janeiro’s samba schools, Samba New York’s high-energy Bateria will rock the Bowery Poetry Club with the exhilarating sounds of Carnaval.

The evening will be rounded out with an eclectic Brazilian mix provided by DJ Drummerman and a special samba dance lesson by Michele Bastos.
