Red Hot + Rio 2: Wax Poetic

Founded by Turkish-born sax player and keyboardist Ilhan Ersahin, New York trip-hop juggernaut Wax Poetic writes syncretic dancescapes that tap the world wide will-to-groove. Their most recent port of call was Brazil where they recorded with legends Bebel Gilberto, members of Brazilian Girls, and others, resulting in a sound perfectly suited to BAM’s exuberant celebration of the music of Brazil, Red Hot + Rio 2.
