Video Interview with Skank

On Thursday, June 25, 2009, a small group of Brazilian reporters met with the four members of the band Skank. The press conference was to focus on their June 26th concert, at the Nokia Theater in New York City, but the topics of discussion ranged from music piracy, soccer, musical influences and the future of music appreciation around the world.

The four members of the band, Samuel Rosa (guitar and vocals), Henrique Portugal (keyboards), Lelo Zaneti (bass) e Haroldo Ferreti (drums), are a chamring and easy going bunch, and they will be playing in several other US cities in the coming week, including Boston, San Francisco and Miami.

Here’s the interview filmed on Thursday night, minutes after the passing of pop icon Michael Jackson was announced.
