SHAKE OFF THE WINTER BLUES WITH A BRAZILIAN CARNAVAL PARTY AT NORWOOD.

Brazil Foundation, a US-based non-profit grant making organization dedicated to supporting
social projects in Brazil, presents The Winter Blues Carnaval Party at Norwood Club on February 09, 2009 from 9 PM to 2 AM.

The event will gather BrazilFoundation’s friends and supporters and the proceeds will go to
support the Foundation. The party will feature DJ Lam Paturle and a special performance by Manhattan Samba, under
the direction of Ivo Araújo. The law firm Viana Walker & Associates will provide complimentary
wine and truffles.

Norwood is one of Manhattan’s most prestigious private membership clubs nestled in a West
Village brownstone (www.NorwoodClub.com). Marcus Magarian, a member of Norwood and the
Junior Host Committee, kindly offered the space for the event. Tickets are on sale at
