From Thursday, May 10, through Sunday, May 13, the FB Gallery of Brazilian Art in downtown Manhattan will be showcasing an exhibition of photographs by children living in the Rocinha slum in Rio de Janeiro.
Brazilian photographer Tuca Vieira, winner of the Prêmio Porto Seguro in 2010, is currently showing his latest work at 1500Gallery in New York City. The show opened on MArch 30, and will be open to visitors until July 30, 2011. In this exclusive interview with BrazilNYC, Mr. Vieira talks about his work experience in Berlin and also talks about his fascination with Berlin.
