The United Nations lost its headquarters and between 150-200 employees perished inside the building. The country’s infrastructure was seriously hit, including the collapsing of several governments’ buildings and the deaths of ministers, government staff and future candidates.

A Tribute to Villa-Lobos, the art show curated by Alcinda Saphira, Rene Nascimento and Antonio Oliveira at the United Nations building in New York City, had its public reception on October 30.
